Here are several pictures, as promised. These are from little doggy's Birthday.

Dogblog semi-monthly update
Well, there's been not too much in terms of excitement with the dog as of late. He gets to pee a lot more on the floor throughout the nights now (Thanks Mel), but other than that, there is nothing major!

NEW blog - January update
The little dog that spends most of his time sleeping has had a few adventures as of late. Invloving dads house, and snow.
I took doggy over to dads house last week after I'd dropped Amy off at work. Brought him along to get him out and visit his surrogate father. Some key things to keep in mind in this story are the facts that he was outside between the car and the house, and he didn't see fit to pee. When we arrived at dads, he didn't see fit to pee, I even left him outside for a bit, and he didn't go.
So we come into dads place, and he just stays right by the door, in the entryway. Dad and I were downstairs, and he wouldn't come down. Even when we called, he just remained by the door. Wasn't barking or crying really. So I just figured he didn't want to walk down the highly polished and potentially slippery hardwood steps. Picked him up, brought him down. He said "Hi" to dad, rather impatiently, and then when he was set down, he silently peed, disguising his actions by walking around the room as he did. I noticed after the deed was done, since there were some conspicuous wet trails on the carpet.
And finally, a picture of the dog in the front of the house! He looks a bit special, if you know what I mean.

To boot, Wendy was in the next room, and the first thing dad said was "oh quick! Wendy'll find out!" He quickly ran out, grabbed some paper towel, came back, and dried up the spot as best he could. The carpet was still visibly moistened, so he moved a small rug from its home, and placed it over the pee-spot to hide the mess. Below you will find a picture of the hidden mess, and some dogshots with dad as he masks his animosity towards the small creature
Dog in the car on the way home.
Next up are some snowshots of a fridged yorkshire terrier, clearly not suited to Canadian climes, as he attempts to relieve himself one cold January morning.

Holiday Blog Entry
To those loyal fiew who follow the DogBlog religiously, this should be a well recieved update. The holidays, while terribly unkind to me (Strep and a sinus infection = 3 days without food) were very good for the schnauzer.
I have a few never before seen pictures from Bobbie's pre-holiday cleaning. So I will start with them!
The following pictures are from the holiday. The dog very much enjoyed opening presents, and preceeded at one point to just waltz under the tree and tear open some randoms, which were most definitely not his!
Threw in some photos of the other people present over the holiday. The last picture is the delicious meal Amy and I (Most, if not all of the credit to Amy... I suck at cooking) had for xmas dinner.
And finally! The big surprise! (I didn't say there would be a surprise, but, well, surprise!):
If you couldn't tell, this is Wii Fit Plus. It allows you to create your pets in the game. An almost pointless endevour, since all wii fit can do for a pet is track its weight. (It can't really make the dog do push ups, pilates, or yoga...) As you can see, the obese animal weighed in at 3.4kg. For all you non-metric commies (That'd be me too, who uses metric for weight?) that works out to be 7.49571691 pounds. (thanks google)
Untill Next Time!

dogblog December update!
This is it! Perhaps one of the most anticipated dog blog updates yet. Its been 1 month in the making, so there are many pictures to show. Bobbie has been pretty busy sleeping and preparing for the holidays. (but mostly sleeping... He's pretty lazy!)

The next several takes aren't much better... I don't think he liked the flash on my blackberry. Every time it went off he would look down... he doesn't make a very good model, even if you take away his stench and ratty-ness, his performance would still be sub par!
We purchased a small fake xmas tree, and took some pictures of the animal. Then we figured he needed a tree of his own.
Below are an assortment of pictures of the dog helping us decorate for xmas and posing for a few pictures.
Finally does, but is way out of frame. What a little weasel...

"Where's my cookie?"
Dog with all the presents... probably wondering when he'll be able to get away with peeing on them.
And Doggy hanging out with Amy. She gave him some good squishes, as you can see in the expression on his face.
The next few pictures are some interesting ones I snapped a couple days after the xmas ones above. Amy was studying on the sofa, and the dog decided he wanted to snuggle. He squished himself between Amy and the sofa. When amy moved to get herself comfortable, she would progressively squish the dog, but he seemed to enjoy it. He wouldn't move, and so these pictures illustrate the progressive squishing.
LOADS of room. You can see him wedging amy off of the sofa.
Little bit less room... looks like he's half under amy.
Maybe a half hour later. If he didn't like cuddling so much, this would be a very bad position...
Anyhow! Dog is all well! no silly dreams required! He is medicated, fed (no mould in the bowl, checked this morning!) and watered! And given a little bit of love on occaision.

Where's the schnauzer?
Can you see him? Its tricky, because of his natural camouflage. His browns and blacks obscure him among the fallen leaves and detritus. He might also be obscured because of the poor quality phone camera... Either way he his in his element. Try to sneak up on him, and bad things happen, as you'll see!

SNOW DOG
So, woke up this morning, and to my surprise, there was white stuff falling from the sky, and accumulating on the ground. My first thought was nuclear fallout, but unfortunately, I was wrong. It was snow.
There is some good news to be brought by the snow though! Bobbie's usually long and meandering pee-breaks outside seem to be much much quicker when he has to drag his junk through the snow in order to pee.
Below are a couple of pictures of the Snow Dog!

Bobbie's Visit from mom!
So, Its been another little while since the last dogblog update. There hasn't been anything overly exciting happen in Bobbie's life. He definitely enjoyed his visit from Mom this past weekend though. He got a dispropotionately large ammount of cookies, squishes, and even a couple extra walks. All in all, for a 68 year old dog, thats a pretty good thanksgiving.
I obtained the age estimate for animal at this website. Seems pretty optimistic. I'd say because he is so fat, he probably falls into the next category up.
On another note, Amy and I did pick out a Halowe'en costume for the animal. He did not like putting it on, but he does look pretty sharp in it!

Well, he looked OK in SOME of the pictures. Below are some creepy demonic clown dog pictures.
