Since the last blog, bobbo has had quite the number of nautical adventures! He's been kayaking, and hanging out at the Dartmouth Yacht Club. Ok, so for those keeping count, thats only two nautical adventures, but what can ya do?
Bobbie seemed to like the sailboat, because once we arrived, he didn't mind being aboard, as long as I was aboard with him, and within sight. Since I wanted to get some things done, and not worry about a small animal going for an inadvertant swim, I tricked him by lying next to him in the v-birth, till he dozed off, and then I was able to get some things done. Everyone wins!
I have yet to actually take the dog out for a sail, though I'm sure he wouldn't mind, since he just seems to like being around people. (Sometimes a little bit too much so, he has some dependancy issues! I was re-arranging my main and jib halyards to run them back to the cockpit, and he just came over and plopped down on my lap. When I moved him, he would whimper. If I tried to give him to Simon, same result.)
Anyhow, here are some photos the dog agreed to pose for:

Eeeeeeeeee!! Little Bob on a boat!!! On a big blue watery road!!
ReplyDeleteHe's such a handsome beast. Look at his pose in the first picture. He looks like he is captain of the ship!
Make sure you trim his eye fur soon little brother, or he won't be able to see and he'll walk off the boat by mistake.
Auntie Snoozer, Shay and I went over to take Little Bobber for a walk today. Adrian came along too. Everything went well until halfway through the walk when he decided he was going to sniff Shay's butt for the rest of the walk, and nothing and nobody was going to stop him. Shay tolerated him whiuh was quite suprizing, but I think I'll leave Shay home next time.
